About the Author

Chris ChanskiChris Chanski has spent twenty-five years in the “corporate” world.  He has worked for three fortune 500 companies, and also as a small business entrepreneur.  As a business leader, consultant, and speaker Chris has worked closely with both entrepreneurs and large corporations.

Chris’ ability to translate business principles into concrete lessons for his teams has been the centerpiece of his two plus decades of sustained success.   Chris wrote Principled Performance for all those who strive for success that is anchored in principle, both ethical and practical, by word and by deed.

In addition to his years of success in business, Chris has also been blessed personally.  Chris has been married for 25 years to his remarkable wife Jan, and together they are the proud parents of six wonderful children.  (3 girls & 3 boys - as his youngest daughter Lydia said to a complete stranger one day..."we're just like the Brady Bunch, except my mom did it the hard way." )

Chris has been fortunate to have had a myriad of experiences throughout his career while working and living in several parts of the country.  Chris has worked with, or sold, to businesses in nearly all 50 states.   Ranging from the smallest “Mom and Pops” to multi-billion dollar organizations.  These experiences in sales and fathering, while coaching his teams as well as his children have been significant factors in shaping his view of what it takes to be effective  in business.

Chris has learned that the key to success in business is ensuring that your company’s plans are principled and consistently executed by people that are focused primarily on their customers - not focused on themselves, their careers, or what others think, but primarily on their CUSTOMERS.
